Essays on Left Hand Path

People that are generally interested about Paganism and Witchcraft are often tempted to ask something to believe in. Deluded by Christian religion, atheism, or a life exempt of any belief, they are looking for something greater, they ask for a pointer to spirituality – indeed, to teach them the old religion. The search for answers is perfectly normal for a waking consciousness, but the way it is expressed is critically a remain of multi-millennial and firmly rooted religious habits programmed about what’s good and bad, religious and profane, true and false. For Anthropology defined the first Man by his habit of deposing flowers into graves some 300 000 years ago, the belief of something greater, or the beginning of understanding the process of death made the difference between the animal and Man.

When I face this type of questioning, I always look for a path already burgeoning in the emerging spiritual person in face of me. I can’t always stay serious when someone asks me the “ Can you teach me everything you know about paganism” question. As Paganism is simply what is not related to mainstream religions of the Book, and since I practice Left Hand – a path defined by freedom – it is difficult to explain that I can’t give answers to others, because I am creating, using and destroying answers to open my path. When people ask me if I could teach them Magick, if I do not answer “Teach me your own way”, it ends with some sentences looking like “You know, in real magic, you learn to deal with good energies, and bad ones. We work with all these. You will be confronted with demons and your own fears. You will have to know things you would not like to, to learn about yourself and face a lot of ordeals. Do you still want to go further?”

Useless to say that this is enough to rebuke any aspirant that is not well prepared for the hard path. I do this because I am not only light, and that I can’t transmit only light. Goddess is also Hecate, Kali, and Morrigan, goddess of the realm of death , demoness and temptress. And to see darkness eyes wide open one must accept and integrate its existence.

First of all Paganism and Magic are two different things. Paganism encloses any spiritual manifestation of religious significance, including worship and religious traditions handed down through time, generally with corpuses of teachings. Magic is not a religion. It can become one, but stay basically as a practical way of life, distinct from religious manifestations, or dogmas; but is present in any spiritual or religious tradition, for the magickal theory of sympathy is the basis for ritualistic and symbolic religious manifestations.

LHP and Power

Magic is first concerned about Power. Following my temporary definition, anything, any existence and movement in the universe is Magick, because it is, it needs, creates, transform and destroys Power, from the non-created, void existence of the Negative, to any Universe, anything manifest in the Positive, and returning any Creation to Void. The life force called by many names that constitutes its main idea can be channelled/directed through vessels. These currents are given a container to exist and transform, following natural evolution, they dissolve (solve), or fragment and manifest to expand (coagula). Man is the first of these containers. He begins his quest by his first initiation, his birth, coagulating into the manifest universe. He takes his vessel in order to experiment life and then dissolve. He is then the most important and powerful instrument of its own magickal path; great power flows constantly trough him. Following Argentina’s scientific school of neurobiology, neuroelectrical potential of man is of an intensity almost three times more powerful than the energy generated by the rupture potential of atmospheric lightning.

Power is generated by Transformation. Transformation generating Energy has its roots into Movement.

Energy=Mass x Celerity²

(even if this theory has been proved to be inexact in all spaces and times, I still like to think about it in our three-dimensional world).

Starhawk talks about Power. She defines two types of power derived from experimenting human life. Power-over and Power from within. Power over is energy created by domination and control. It could be over life, nature, spirits or other beings. This kind of Magickian uses external means to attain his goals. (ego and charms, physical force, manipulation techniques, psychic and mental faculties, etc.). Power from within is generated trough our own existence. The inhabiting of our body, and our interior life made of sacrifices, dreams, will and freedom of choice. This is true Will. It rely only on itself; even facing death, it will keep sacred the very existence and dignity of being When the King and the Queen (reason and intuition) unite they manifest power. Since all is here since our birth, it doesn’t need anything external, any leader, any dogma or certitude, to reveal within an individual. It is only a personal process that can be accelerated. When he access to this source of power, he ceases to search it outside, then ending a life of uncertainty, power-over any situation or other individual, etc. and sustain by him/herself.

This theory is in my sense, incomplete (because external and internal are not different in my point of view – only different vessels of the same “thing”) and reveals some weaknesses. These definitions only points at the real alchemical or magickal interests of these kind of individuals. Because it needs internal power to get some external, it is not necessarily only external power, and the internal adept needs to use his energy to create some external forms, it is not only an internal power, in this case these adepts are really working Magick with great and serious personal interest, almost devotion. It is interesting in the way that it reveals some facets of the way people use their power.

This could almost define the line between what uninitiated call Black and White magic, even if I don’t believe in any separation within magickal theory. Because White Magickians almost never work for external benefits, unless they absolutely know there will be no “bad” comeback (how can they know that?… and how can they know that “black magick” is bad, or that “white magick” is always without risk?). Black Magickians are almost always using or looking for external manifestations, such as Sorcery, Goetia, Necromancy, etc. Magickal techniques are ultimately never White or Black, because they only rely on the intention of the working, may it be internal or external. Following an inclusive view, anything we do in this world is a magickal work, depending of the clarity of consciousness behind the move. May we do anything consciously, with a clear willpower and free from any mental distraction; we will then be a great being.

Underground shoots

True Left Hand Paths are concerned with Power and its uses. There is no dogma, nothing to teach except the way Power works within and without. The individual, his body and his life through incarnation, and the path he will choose to get personal experience is the gate by which initiation, or knowledge of life-force energy, is possible. This is why it is renowned to be dangerous and may be revelatory of madness. I can include into LHP any tradition that has no dogma and deals with Power and Freedom. This is not an exhaustive list but only a pointer to similarities; Zen, some forms of Shivaite traditions and Tantrism, real Satanism (as the Order of Nine Angles deals with), Shamanism, Tibetan Lamaism, some forms of Sorcery (as Feri Tradition), true Thelema and Chaos Magic. It is sometimes explained as the Tradition without any Veil, and, as with Tantrism, is renowned to exist independently of any adept, as it is the Way in pure form. Traditional Magick, expelled of external/superficial belief in techniques, dogmas, Gods or Goddesses, can be included.

Because some self-proclaimed Magus insist much more on specific things that can be shamelessly called Dogmas in our field of “knowledge”, as if techniques themselves would be much more important than the individual and his experience, they are no more than religious adherent, far away from real Magick.

Therefore any tradition as Golden Dawn, Wicca, which are the most important Right Hand Paths into Occidental Tradition, are excluded. Accomplished beings such as Aleister Crowley (in Occident) were LHP, because even if they start from the beginning, they do not rely on already existing “knowledge” (which is only energy fixed into being and stopped from its original motion) to bring to an end their discovery of their own Universe (even if he veiled for the ignorant all his understandings under a plethora of diverse expressions – maybe he never expected people to believe and take as cash all his personal discoveries…). As he said, every man, every woman is a star… I can’t believe that a lot of great “magus” in our times are just pale copies of Crowley, Levi or Osman Spare. It is sad but I still think they have the right to be very proud of their own work, because at least they dare to do it, not waiting for anybody else to bring them the light they are looking for. So that’s absolutely interesting.

Tantra means “to weave”, as the spider is a symbol of real Witchcraft. It can’t be described appropriately, exists independently from its practitioners and is always evolving. The key to understand Tantra, apart from its numerous forms, is to live without barriers, nude before Sacred Universe. The multitude of writings called Tantras are similar to magickal writings; they always differ on the form, are sometimes very complicate and elaborate material, and they are all expressions of a single Way, as the infinite colours are emitted from light passing through a single crystal. From this attitude comes the greatest realisations, allowing the individual to be before any thought.

Zen is similar in the process of accessing real communion with Nature, consequently living fully. A student, during a hot day at noon, asked an old man, a Zen master who was drying mushrooms, why he had to do it now, why he did not asked somebody else to do it for him or do it later, instead of being at the mercy of the dry heat of the sun. He answered, “I do it now because it has do be done, it is the perfect moment because I don’t know if it will rain tomorrow, and because I take great care and pleasure of doing it now by myself.” This is one essence of Zen.

For the same reasons real Satanism cannot be described, because it follows the only Will of the practitioner, symbolized by the embodiment of Arcane knowledge of Solve and Coagula, Baphomet. And useless to say that Chaos magick, our last born current full of promises, is in its way to encompass organic knowledge. Chaos current has left us with the feeling that for some of its practitioners, that Magick is like creating a new recipe. As with cooking, the recipe can point to the ultimate taste of the meal, but is not the taste in itself. For sure, if you follow it to the word, it will work. But if you are a beginner in cooking, even if you get the right recipe, it doesn’t guarantee the subtlety of the taste at the end. All of it depends on the tools, the ingredients, the experience and organic knowledge of the cook. But apart from constructive criticism it can’t be properly described, and I can’t even range it to the LHP side, because ultimate Chaos can’t be classified anywhere. I know it partakes in some ways with the core of some LHP traditions, especially genuine Satanism.

LHP and Shells

Real Arcana, which cannot be described, is discovery of our self, our possibilities, abilities, forces and weaknesses, our destiny weaved through greater wheels of the Universe – all embodied from a single consciousness (Spirit), attaining complete union with the Soul into the Body, sustained and cared as the Temple of living Energy. This could not be simplified into some specific – i.e. finite, attribute or expression, because it is in constant movement. As I mentioned before, some people think the path is more important than the individual, leading to misconceptions of the universe, stone thinking. The means are mistaken to be the end in itself. They will focus on the importance of rituals, gods, or other particular fixed thought. Thus the means of attaining spiritual knowledge, which are the goals of Right Hand traditions, may it be Religion or Magick, are left apart or used by the LHP practitioner as a result of the first process, deprogrammation. But they do not deny them, because they consider these to be particular embodiments of life-force itself, enabling themselves to be freed from any mental limitations. This allows a particular freedom in their individual spiritual expression. This way they can always access to greater understanding, greater self-knowledge and knowledge of the universe. This knowledge is not fixed thinking but what I call organic knowledge, which I will explain later. So magickal techniques have been for long mistaken for what is real magickal knowledge.

Concerning beliefs, they exist in LHP but are not considered as the end in itself. They are often transitory, can be chosen, adapted, created or destroyed, but are lived fully for what they are, to experiment the reality of their existence. It is accepting all that exists for what it is, and everything that comes with it. Natural evolution reveals patterns of beliefs, because beings as entities and as whole communities need this kind of pointers to situate themselves into space-time. Such is necessity of beliefs, and their adaptation to contextual evolution.

For example, Luciferians may believe or not in Lucifer and Lilith as their God and Goddess, but, in a way, they don’t absolutely have to believe in something. So for them, it can remain or no a symbol; it is a very personal choice indeed. From a very basic Judaeo-Christian point of view, they believe in a negative force that is contrary to God and/or Christ, namely the Devil. Such evil force doesn’t exist for any real Luciferian who first believe in Self, Power and Freedom, which is, from a philosophical view, a very positive force. From historical deduction, Church has probably demonized self-expression to reduce the individual will to a force to be used at the will of some powerful people. So a Luciferian doesn’t believe in any Saviour, he only relies on himself. In the same way he doesn’t believe in sin, only in faithful trial. If you fall and are alone to rise, this is a great form of pathworking, because you learn by doing it, you don’t let others do it for you. From this point of view, there is nothing as “to win”, “to lose”, “salvation” and the like. Such is the diversity of beliefs, always relating to personal experience, and/or dogmas adopted by the individual.

That aspect of LHP frightens a lot of people on any path. I see this stage as the infancy of the individual. He has to rely on something in order to advance. They need to believe, they need to get a goal and give a sense to their lives. In this way, atheists or pure skeptics often acts as believers when they look for answers outside themselves, or when they statute things as “good” or “bad”, “false” or “true”. There is nothing bad at this, because it is the Greater will in evolution. What is “bad” or very “religious” about this, is that they often discredit people that are not on the same way than themselves. Egoist attitude is not bad in itself though, but needs to evolve before letting the individual will to die. What we call ego is only a bad use of Sulphur. Life has no apparent and definite sense, and until we understand it if there is one, it will need a great deal of evolution from mankind to understand it, since a lot of individual wills are still hidden in the dark, glued into exoteric, subconscious and animalistic attitude. So we become either an insane guru or a poet, not nearer a possible “ultimate truth” than the most humble of beings.

Left Hand Paths rejects nothing in declaring something as “good” or “bad”, “true” or “false”, “sacred” or “profane”. All these processes resides only into mind, slowing the energy flow and limiting the accessibility to lower/upper spheres of the being, facilitating his evolution. The two pearls of occult knowledge, Solve and Coagula, teach us to create and destroy as it is our legitimate gift from Nature, and to accept to be created, and destroyed, returning to this same Nature, having accomplished our destiny. For the Phoenix lives back from its ashes – I.N.R.I – as we can construct and live free only if we die inside, if we let go all these schemes that keeps us blinded, these schemes we try so frantically to surround ourselves, to protect ourselves against a pathetic subconscious feeling of the “dark forces”, “the fall”, “sin” or “evil”, which is only a projection of the unknown. From an occult perspective, these thoughts, or beliefs, are kind of parasites; they can’t live or exist by themselves; as shells they need our energy to be sustained. Individuals searching for freedom through these limited boundaries are only feeding parasites. The action is different if apprehended with the will of understanding the process of its creation, evolution and destruction, the adept not wasting his time to validate the “true” or “false” decree, but only experimenting it for itself. In this case the shell becomes a vessel of the personal will.

That way the Left Hand practitioner will enjoy living new experiences, new beliefs, and different approaches. They can’t communicate their experience, hence they can’t initiate others the way most people understand initiation. Accordingly, they will never tell others that their path is “right” or “wrong”. They enjoy discovering by themselves, and they refuse to accept passively one or another system, even if they know them to have been tested and validated as authentic spiritual paths in the course of centuries.

Right Hand forms of Magick states that in order to perform some rituals or advance through the system, application and understanding of some of the tenants of the system is absolutely necessary, and is a prerequisite to going further. As stationary beliefs are only a step into Solve/Coagula expression, power channelled from temporal means will always be different from the core tenets of the tradition, so are always evolving even if these Right Hand traditions forbids it in a certain way. This is why people always try to convince others of the importance of keeping tradition, and of validity of the system. They try to keep the core of the system as times tries to destroy it. It will evolve until humanity doesn’t need it anymore for its evolution. Anyway, people experimenting it will always get a personal approach and comprehension of the same process, yet repeated with care through time, to access the same “truth”. This “truth”, being the experience in itself, into space-time expelled of its systematization - is, then, never seen the same for any individual. And for a same individual, this comprehension evolves through time too. So the important thing about any belief system, and tradition, is what the individual can learn from it, and not the tradition in itself. This is why I sustain the opinion that systems are worth the essay, even for the LHP adept, unless it limits the individual to a vessel of the tradition, destroying his/her own willpower.

Magick channelled within a defined system (ex. GD style) can be very powerful, because supported by a whole bunch of forces (shells) nurtured from causal sources and the will of the Magickian, but a lot more difficult to learn and perform for the adept because he needs to “squeeze” himself into a limited space-time continuum, and, learn and remember a lot of stuff. But this gives, for the beginner adept, a good training. This way you learn how to put yourself into the proper state of consciousness to perform, you learn how to be “effective” into directing the energy – all letting it go the way you want it. Incorporating elements of different rituals and blending them with your own creations – this will lead you in the most subtle realms of Creation. In Left Hand Magick, with no “truth” to hint at, the Causal forces are unlimited, the Acausal is then open and the Magick, if learnt properly, can be a lot more powerful because really personal, adapted, unique and using energy forces much more alive than fixed shells. In this path, there is no Ultimate Secret, there is no Nirvana or Divinity to praise, nothing to accomplish outside our very own Path, our Great Work. It is the way to develop personal Power, abilities, it is innovation, creation, flowing with the great Currents of life at work, and be ourselves without concealing the personality within frontiers, self-limitation or depreciation, morals or ethics, fears or weaknesses, or emotional imbalance. I see it as the next step into contemporary Magick. It is a real Challenge, much more improving, hard and exciting.

The Gates

Any so called revealed truth is not an ultimate truth, then it is a false truth. But still a truth, limited by causal means. The all-pervading spirit, unlimited by space and time conditioning from our own Universe, can pertain and access to unlimited Existence, but at return, it has to limit itself to be expressed, then conditioning “truth” into a form, a vessel. That is in essence, the birth of any form into this universe, by Coagula, which is always a parcel born from division. The Acausal world, when the gates of Causal are all open, reveals what is undefined, unlimited, that cannot be described, and yet is the Foundation stone of anything that was, is and will be. That is called approximately the Goddess in some cultures. But giving it a name is limiting it in some sense, giving it a vessel to exist. That permits the Magickian to work with the source of Power. For Acausal is beyond mental comprehension, and it can’t be apprehended by the mind only. It is accessible if you give yourself entirely to the Universe. Life-force or Energy will flow trough the gates fully open, and permits the gates of life and death, sahasrara chakra and muladhara chakra, of existence and void, to be transcended and reveal the Acausal. The “Gates” are the means by which Causal and Acausal meets: they call them Bardos in Tibetan Lamaism, which are birth, awake consciousness, meditation, death, dream, and other specific moments when these forces unites, as “déjà-vu” experiences, to make love, coincidences, telepathy, healing, etc. These portals, where causal and acausal meet, bear the name “nexion” into traditional Satanism. And then, Power is created. From my point of view, power doesn’t reside internally nor externally, because and inside outside are two aspects of the same thing. The mirror of Life reflects itself only through Relationships. This is the mystery of the Trinity, as subject, relationship and object, as the source of every existence, every movement, and creation. (see Buckminster Fuller’s Synergetics, Explorations in the Geometry of Thinking) Then is Birth created, the path of Gimel.

As Power is the process itself, doing and learning (as almost the same) are the ways by which this power is transferred. Any mental, physical (as pseudo-scientific thinking), or spiritual answer is far from real understanding, for two obvious reasons. First, we can’t comprehend fully life itself if we sustain old corpses, fixed and dead thoughts. Travelling reveals that any information is always “second hand” so never exact. Second because any answer is a finite, defined end to an ever-evolving and infinite process, a mystery beyond human knowledge which is more an enigma than an answer. The question in itself is more hinting at what we could call “truth” than any answer, because it leaves open the door to any possibility to exist. Meditating on the Zen adage “Who am I?” is a way of understanding it.

Freedom and Power

This path is obviously dangerous to a certain point, because there is no illicit way, no forbidden exploration. Some will try to go further too fast, and get health problems, insanity or die. In LHP, sex, drugs, death mysteries are openly accepted as valid paths, but are not, as most have stated in the past, the path itself, that means, you do not need to go through that to experiment LHP. I am not promoting drug use or any kind of violence, but I am stating that if you are to live it, do not fear or regret it. Most of interested practitioners will stop at one step or another. The ladder is fortunately neither a direct way to some “heaven” nor “hell”. We believe any experience worth living it, without regret. What you will learn from it is of utmost importance. Give yourself the right, the risk to fall and be renewed. And most important of all, if you have to pass trough rough ordeals, do not fear, face them with passion, determination and honor.

These aspects have proved to be what I consider freedom, individuality, love, and spiritual life, to be my own vision of Power. I first feared power when it came from authoritarian sources. Freedom, at this stage of my understanding, meant freedom from authority. Of course, we never free ourselves totally from “authority”, be it a form of cultural or communal dependency. This kind of freedom is born in mind from individual desire, and utopian aspects of human independence. After, I thought for some times that freedom meant either freedom to travel and to be a citizen of the World, or maybe freedom of opinion. Apart from being an utopian dream or an overused word to any sauce, I found my own freedom into unlimited being. In this state of the self, there is no “injustice” or “justice”, “equality”, only the opening of my own “gates” as far as possible to the great “unknown” that is Acausal. In this kind of “freedom” anything that happens is accepted as it is, not being judged by my mind, whatever it may be. I try to accept things as they are, and from this I know that if I had to die or be put in jail now, I would be in peace with myself, having done anything in my power to live according to my principles. So I found my own perception of freedom to have evolved a great deal all the way through my life. Same thing happened with almost any perception I had in the past, and it will surely occur to every thought in the present. Of course I do not expect anybody to agree with me (as for the essay in itself). I only try to expose the fact that on the Path, we come to discover that what we previously believed to be a distinct and definite reality expressed by a word can take as many forms as there is manifestations of it. Our vision, our understanding then follow our path, because as we walk, the Earth which is the way of our paces, is ever changing, ever renewing, dying and reborn. That means being able to adapt to our own “free” will… I can state by this very personal opinion that I am never the same being. I do not want to be restricted in any way concerning my self-perception, as I don’t need any magickal title, grade or function. I am, and I like it like that, nothing more is necessary.

Not limited, freedom expressed this way can be understood as “dangerous” for a lot of us who believe there is a “right” and a “bad” way to live. Amoral is not the same as being immoral, because with this type of com-prehension, the being absorbs reality in a open way that permits the contact with energy (magickal) currents, enabling it to act according to his free spirit.

Part of LHP, apart deep commitment to learn conscious living, is the trespassing of personal limits or that which binds the individual will. Thus you gain strong power. Then, as have been said before, a real “black mass” would be a reverse of the present social/ideological current, as an anarchistic festival, burning money Hippies flirting with Fascist extremists, a public homosexual orgy of rich Christian businessman, or something like that. Or something outrageously naturalistic in a urban environment – as dancing your two feet into the waters of a public fountain, wearing only dreadlocks, a dress, tribal tattoos and organic jewelry. On a personal basis, that means to do something we are completely afraid or against of. Tantrikas used this as ritual means to trespass their boundaries, praising what they abhorred most. This included ritual intercourse with outcast women, the use of intoxicants, ritual use of death, ritual sacrifice and meat, summoning demons, etc.

It does not mean a LHP adept must perform all of these. It is not perceived as a salvation path, or an already defined one. You have to define it the same way you learned to walk, to ride you first bicycle. But to know yourself, you will have to endure, live, fear and joy, sadness and ecstasy, all during a short lifespan of time, and a little by little some dirty secrets will come to hand, clear in your spirit. You will have to face your fears; if you can’t pass through, you are not worthy of your body. It is the hard and forgotten way to learn; the solitary path of transgressing your own limits.

It is still the very basis of Chaos Magick; through change (Mercury) new currents are always created, sustained, and destroyed, thus creating new change. This allows us to fulfill (despite the world domination now) the promise that Humans will become Gods.

Conspiracies and miracles

Miracles happens to be the same. Miracles are what they are in the mind of non-initiates, and act of unpredictable, unexplained revolt against the “normal” mode, a reversal of natural “laws”. Sickness has its root in a non-harmonic pattern that could be healed by destroying it (solve), and/or by restoring harmony (coagula). Harmony is the basis of being, only its manifestation can be hazardous, due to crude energy emerging from the crushing of the spheres of space and time together. So when a disharmonic pattern arises, nature tends to counteract, by the two means we studied above. Thus these events reside into the Causal world, where anything evolves around links. When a cold wind and a hot wind merge together, then water moves in the sky, clouds and storms rise, provoking the energy collapse between currents, and then lightning. (I think learning more about Nature is the most subtle practice…) The real miracles would be the events caused by intrusion of Acausal into Causal. Here is the point of no return, because Acausal is before any time, any space, the source of all being. This defines the “contact between the two worlds”, creating the torrent. Seems to me like a black star (emitting energy but no light) or a black hole (absorbing energy but visible). A lot of miracles would only be a cause-effect reaction, but because the majority of people do not believe in energy because they can’t see it – this states as “belief” for them… - they can’t even understand the laws governing the currents.

True mages never believed there was anything outside Nature itself; thus never “believed” in the “supernatural” existence of “entities” or “forces” but only relied on the laws governing them. They recognized them as parts of the specific space-time considerations of their epoch, and because they knew the underlying evolution patterns needed for the accomplishment of their generation, mankind evolving following curbs and cycles, they could understand the why and the how. From this they were able to perceive and channel the “acausal”, see the revolution steps, and translate the process as prophecies or oracles, the “voice of god/dess” or the “teachings of the angels”. But this still resides in the Natural process of evolution, as the ancients saw it – Anima Mundi, Isis Uranie.

There is an occult concept often heard these times, the occult battle between forces of “light” and the “dark” forces, a kind of pre-apocalyptic spiritual struggle, or “Jihad”. I do not believe in conspiracy the way it is generally understood. But because of what my eyes have seen, there is really diverse intentions in the world. And I do think that everything has already been tried, that we just always recreate it in some ways. I do believe anything is possible.

I know there are bad and influential intentions in the world; I know there is a lot of dark lodges (not only in the magickal sense, but perhaps more dramatic – destructive for Nature and Man, like OGMs, marketing, negative orgone...); a lot of these not being Magick but political games, child porno, wars, institutions, pharmacology, etc. In general true “black” magicians, adepts in the arts of death, if they persevere, one day or another, will face something really frightening. A LHP adept may well do politics, or engage army as he will, because their intentions are to know from the source.

Manichean and dualistic ideologies keep separate the illusion of morals, that were united, in ancient pagan religion, under the philosophical theology of the myths of Nature, the Gods and Goddesses. Potent individuals could at this time use the power created by fear and knowledge to enslave. I do not think a solitary body of “black initiates” is the root of the “disease of our time”, even if the existence of one or more of these is likely to be possible in my personal sense. Because the White brotherhood (and sisterhood) is so great, I believe the Black one is at least the same. And the many colored-ones are those who will shine through the darkness. Have you ever played Risk Game during nights long? Taking people under your wing of power – like chess game, is the strategic goal. Some of us take this goal into their daily lives, and are preoccupied thinking how they can vampirize more. In my local town I saw a graffiti like this, written in French: “ They are great only because you’re on your knees”.

Power-over in itself is neither bad or good. Nor is power from within, because too much Sulfur can destroy the self from its first hand experience. What we call ego is an extravagant use of power from within. You can channel it but ground it into the Earth to take all its potency. So what’s the link with conspiracies theory? A lot of us will feel they are on one “side” or another. If you believe there is a fight, so take your “spiritual sword” and go for it! I do believe in this fight, but a fight in which nobody win – except those that will plunge into the dark without fear. In this age, the roaring of Kali is still driving the currents into Coagula process, until Solve appears. This will bring revolution of the Wheel – revelations of things to come. So as I do not believe in any White or Black magick, I won’t believe into the dualistic current conspiracy theory – because all of it is all the same process in motion, guiding the Earth into its natural processes of Time. But I remember so much things that lead me to consider some extra-planetary evidence of control upon an upcoming insurgence of consciousness-emerging human race as a basic fact. Anyway each individual will get and believe exactly what he has to, to follow its goal into natural evolution. But Mages and Witches try to use, break or stimulate these natural cycles. That’s making the prospect of an “occult war” very complicated and exciting, and it is something happening, right now under our eyes, and nobody can see it happen, except the warriors – all these bunches of unique individuals with their own goals, all of them desiring their part of the cake, under the influence of the stars and other influent forces… Interesting…

This may be one reason why occult bodies are so occult. In fact there are many. But to interact so forcefully in the course of heavens is not to be taken lightly. You have to hide yourself a little bit. And to know what you are doing.

But how to explain atrocities committed in the name of any ideology? Two principal schools of thought were fighting in the old times. Realism and Idealism, one stating that forms existed before ideas, and the other, that ideas were the origins of forms. The egg or the hen? We can’t explain all the causalities of the events, and relate them all to bad and good influences. Man on Earth is an experience, as laboratory rats are. The “gods” (the Cyclops, or Nephilims, those with only one eye – the aetheric beings from outer space) that created us want us to forgive the creation story, and accept pseudo-scientific knowledge instead of real knowledge. But there is no contradiction between Science and Magic. They want us to believe in matter instead of Energy, because after tasting the Apple of all-pervading knowledge we will recover and become like Gods, like them.

Humans are influenced by so much energy they can’t perceive, like those from outer space, matter, magnetism, etc… How living dead humans can think they understand the real meaning of life… So much people dying when only a little bit of all this wealth could sustain all children on Earth. So much free energy systems patents being bought, hidden, or destroyed… So much revelations, so much lives being hidden, thrown away, destroyed because of ignorance and domination… So much treasures lost into the ocean! There is some forces, or wills, that want us to forgive, or stay slaves.

The conspiracy resides into deep intentions of beings. If we could not have free will, there would be no conspiracy. Some people really have to hide their flaws in front of others. They use law and money to get protection, because they would be absolutely and without pity destroyed by populace. For sure there will always be individuals or societies that will seek to control to get power. But we can’t really understand the actual cosmic forces behind this. Aeons revolve during great cycles, each creating profound creative-destructive currents – and because we don’t know each individual will, then we can’t ultimately understand. The only thing important is that we KNOW it to happen. We are here to live it. And I am here to fight for our times to come.

Conspiracies and miracles are power generated and channelled. They are like gods, sustained by the belief into greater forces. They are our apocalyptic nightmares during the shivering night. They are the black and white totems, the shells we nourish with our intentions and visions of “light”. So we will understand this process a little more during the next aeonic switch, allowing humanity to see through another grid, how we evolved until here. Some clues will be answered then. Some secrets will be unearthed from the graves of the Soul of Man. Gods will come back to Earth. There is still a great history to be written by us, by initiates of the Horus Aeon and you reader. This is not the end of the world! It is the end of the world “as we know it” and the beginning of the Crystal one! We make history right now.

LHP and the Great Work

The way it is achieved, to resume past assumptions, is that the adept lose everything in order to be renewed. He forgets everything and he sees by himself. In most RHP there is a sense of passing through initiatory “steps” or “grades”, or gaining alchemical immortality following a hard an long process of work upon the self. This is called, in my sense, the find of the philosopher’s stone. When you found yourself, this is the rough stone with which we will built the body of Light, the vehicle of the Ancient of Days. But RHP states that to find you have to pass through the entire process – thus declaring that there is a true path. In my vision it is so much more complicated, since anyone has a different goal here on Earth. We each have our own rhythm, our own steps. They often evolve into a spiral; each one crossing each other in cycles, different views of the same thing evolved and renewed.

And of course we work hard on the LHP. It is not a shorter way, but much more walking the path from the end to the beginning, to go back again, this eternally with the dance of the stars. It is not a VIP pass to illumination, Nirvana nor the Gods. And you can’t expect to follow the guides or to be initiated one time, and after it’s over and done; forget it. It is at first getting immortality; after then the game really begins. That means steal and retrieve the lost power of Fire, and learn how to use it at your own expense.

From that point, the quest is never complete, and full of promises (or deceptions – but always richly gratifying). In giving life a chance to manifest, we can access directly those forces beyond imagination to create portals, gateways to new realities, instead of trying to overcome the slavish reality by following a straight path to a uncertain “heaven”.

The process known as internal alchemy is the beginning of organic thinking. It is gaining knowledge and harmony of the three bodies, under will and love. Once this comprehensive state is attained, it seems to push all elements (or planets, chakras, rays, whatever you may call it) in one multi dimensional puzzle, unite them and form the first portal, that one that precisely defines the individual, as a microcosmic manifested spark of the Tree. He understand now his own will. This first step I call Mastery over one’s self, enabling consciousness (HGA), to take command. Then, when the light of the Sun and the Moon, the Red and White seeds of Tibetan Buddhism unite, the red/green/blue fire from the Heart is created and used by the sexual energy, the heart, the third eye and the two hands of the adept, and finally by the wand and the sword, and the other tools of the magus (metaphoric or concrete tools)

Next step is called the abyss: the dark night of the soul, where the wanderer risks his sanity during the crossing of the border between manifest and non-manifest energetic potential. The portal between Gods and Man. This potential only waits to be created. It is one of the most difficult trials of the adept: he has to face his fears, his expectations, his loneliness, his whole as a tool to creation waiting to be born. There is a point where you can’t come back. At this point, just let your soul fly and dream. And have no regrets.
